While we continue to spend more and more time in our homes - we have quickly adapted to new modes of working. In particular this has meant developing new creative home offices. These spaces we spend our time in should be a constant source of inspiration and the objects that we surround ourselves with play a key role.

Having well designed tools can improve your creative productivity. Whether it is for functional efficiency or one of personal comfort, these objects often become constant companions in our daily work flows.

Millisecond
Takeda Design Project

Millisecond is an aluminium metal measure with an anti-bacterial glass fibre tape.‎ When the tape is pulled out, a stopper holds it in place; by pressing the button in the middle the tape can be re-collected.‎ There are 2 holes on the frame of the product, where users can wear the product in various styles by applying a neck strap or keyring.‎ The body is carved out of aluminium, it's round shape and smooth surface fitting comfortably in your hand.‎

Takeda is a company that produces desk accessories based in Tsubame-Sanjyo, Niigata, one of the main cities in Japan specialised in metalworking. Takeda tries to keep up with the evolution and technology of the industrial sector by introducing machinery and sophisticated equipment to pursue advanced and technological processes, in order to adapt to the changing needs of the market.

Shoemaker LED Metal Pendant Lamp
Grok

An interior hanging lamp by industrial designer Joel Karlsson - Shoemaker redefines classic lighting, providing powerful technical features.‎ The exterior felt shade brings warmth and reduces noise in a space.‎ While the smart lighting LED technology enables temperature and light intensity control, offering maximum visual comfort.‎

Grok is a Spanish design studio that aims to create spaces and sensations through light. They embody a way of understanding and interacting with product that is based on intuition and empathy. This approach also stems into their interaction with our clients and employees.

Jing Pen Stand & Cold Holder
Bentu Design

Jing is a geometric pen stand and card holder that is formed through a grid structure. It is constructed from leftover demolition concrete.

Bentu is an independent design brand from Guangzhou, China. Founded in 2011 they engage in product design through experimental, explorative material studies. They have an approach which focuses on returning materials to their natural state by revealing its original texture.

Charles and Ray Eames for Vitra

The Aluminium Chair is one of the great furniture designs of the twentieth century. For its construction, Charles & Ray Eames departed from the principle of the seat shell, instead stretching a panel of leather between two aluminium side members to create a taut seat. The chair adapts to the body of the sitter and is exceedingly comfortable, even without elaborate upholstery.

Charles and Ray Eames are counted among the most important figures within the design world. Their work spans the fields of furniture, filmmaking, photography and exhibition design.

Iris Drawing Compass
Makers Cabinet

Iris is a rotary compass tool used to draw and measure circles with its unique moving aperture. It is made with care and consideration. Featuring a solid brass body and carefully selected stainless spring steel blades. These aid in the drawing and measurement of circles through a simple rotating mechanism on the inside of the solid brass enclosure - allowing circles to be scaled to a specified size between Ø3-70mm.

Makers Cabinet are a young design tool brand that strive to create objects with a guarantee of longevity and durability. Their signature products combine a level of interaction with honest long-standing materials.
