Y-3 QASA LOW II | Aurélien Longo

Round two of posts this week that feature work from the super talented designer, Aurélien Longo (expect to see a couple more too). This time we focus on the extremely popular, Yohji Yamamoto x Adidas, Spring/Summer 2015 silhouette, the Y-3 QASA LOW II.

“The expected low version of the now iconic Qasa with the tubular midsole and neoprene sock with elastic straps.
The shoe has been displayed five times on the catwalk of the Yohji Yamamoto Y-3 SS15 fashion-show in the Paris fashion-week.” – Aurélien

Combining the tubular tooling with a sleak neoprene bootie upper and elastic detailing really created a unique silhouette that ignited fashion week. It also further cemented Y-3 as the go-to brand for sneaker/fashion hybrids. ‘High end’ fashion/footwear brands, take notice. This is how it’s done.
