Woollier: The Cambrian | Brian Moughty

There’s a very real, and very large, difference between designing sport shoes and fashion/casual footwear. It’s the difference between product design and fashion design. You can’t buy taste, and you cant by functional/creative thinking. Occasionally designers hit that sweet spot and mix both seamlessly (think Y3), but for the most part, footwear designers generally excel in either one field or the other, not both.

Designer, Brian Moughty however, seems to have a feel for both of these fields. Having designed both sports shoes for Anta, and now these casual shoes for Woollier. ‘The Cambrian’ is super clean, with a beautiful silhouette, rich leather and small embossed details.

‘Designed for new company: Woollier. 350 pairs are produced of each colorway, with numbering at the tongue. Made in Italy.’ – Brian
