Founded by former Jordan Brand design director Jason Mayden, Superherioc aims to encourage kids to get back outside and play. And they’re doing it through some of the most creative and fun product design I’ve seen applied to footwear in quite a while. The TMBLR v1, Superheroic’s first shoe, features a seamless interior lining, an adjustable utility strap across the vamp, a dual-density midsole and an offset rubber outsole that helps provides stability on uneven surfaces. But the product itself is just the beginnning.
Though the execution of the brand as a whole is super impressive, what honestly really hit home to me just how well thought out everything is, was the packaging.
Coming in a shuttle-inspired tube that when opened plays theme music, the shoes are displayed in an incredibly playful structure (like something straight out of a superhero cartoon), and also come with a utility draw-string bag that has a cape attached to it. Honestly, the number of levels to this whole thing is pretty incredible.
You can see the Superheroic TMBLR v1’s and their incredible packaging in full in Jacques Slade’s unboxing video below.
