#SundaySketch is a series I started a while back on my personal Instagram, and though I’ve been a bit too busy lately to do something every Sunday, I thought perhaps showcasing what I’ve come up with so far might inspire me to do a few more.

Honestly a lot of the time when I’m sketching or rendering, it’s either for a project I’m working on personally or for a client, and I can’t always show all that work right away. Also generally designing for a specific project/client can at times hold your creativity back, so it’s nice every now and then to just let loose and not worry about any of that. Playing with harsh perspectives, interesting design features and generally doing a lot of unnecessary sh*t is something that for sure helps me feel more creative for those other projects that may not be so exciting. It’s also something that allows me to continually grow as a designer, find new ways of finding my process and what works the best for me. It’s also a great way for me to express whats been inspiring me in the footwear realm, as you can see pretty easily from most of the sketches. Either way, I’m sure a few of you will have seen these, but for those that haven’t, check out what I get up to on Sunday’s (sometimes), and be on the look out for some more in the coming weeks.
