Industrial Designer and 3D Artist at Oculus, Tim Zarki has created a stunning concept based on Nike’s React Element, entitled, “Subvert 87”.
“The Subvert 87 is a custom shoe I designed based on the Nike React Element 87. It was a personal project to push my 3D modeling and rendering abilities into new areas with soft goods products. The Subvert 87 was modeled in Blender 3D and rendered in Cinema4D with Redshift.
The shoe itself was inspired by a variety of cyberpunk influences, and the desire to take the React sole and push it into a new futuristic territory. The shoe features a concealed lacing system with rear adjustment, underneath a translucent tongue secured by elastic.” – Tim Zarki
