Silvano Spada’s Workflow Exploration Project

Alpinestars Industrial Designer, Silvano Spada recently shared this weekend project, where he explored the use of various programs to improve his work flow.

“1// I started translating my original idea into marvelous designer where I explored and identified some of the critical elements, such as the back puller, the collar and the grippy sole that might cut down the idea of blue sky concept I had in mind for this quick project.

“2// I explored all the project as obj and imported into Z-Brush where I improved the smoothness of all tech surface and applied an alpha pattern to reproduce a sensation of fabric.

“3// I imported the outcome of Z-Brush into Keyshot where I played with materials, colors and light setting to achieve what I expected to import into my canvas in Photoshop.

“4// Photoshop has been, as always, the final step where I improve the general look, adding small details and improving a little bit the general sharpness.” – Silvano Spada
