Render Demo FOOTWEAR Sketchbook & Reference Guide | Mark Kokavec

I remember watching Mark Kokavec doing a tutorial at an IDSA conference in Boston about rendering footwear in Illustrator and it pretty much blew my mind back then. Dude definitely knows his stuff, and he’s decided to unleash some of that knowledge with this ‘FOOTWEAR Sketchbook & Reference Guide’ Kickstarter campaign. Filled with a ton of info, helpful tips and general footwear knowledge, these sketchbooks are pretty much the best reference guide and teaching tool i’ve seen for young designers outside of an actual footwear design class. I would have loved to have seen a little more enthusiasm in the video, but regardless the sketchbook looks incredible and will for sure be a great pick up for any aspiring footwear designers.

‘The Render Demo FOOTWEAR Sketchbook & Reference Guide is the ultimate tool for students, designers, hobbyists and footwear enthusiasts. We’ve designed the ultimate Footwear Design Field Guide by combining commonly used industry reference materials and 100+ sketching templates into a ubiquitous and iconic Moleskin sketchbook form.’

Hi, congratulations for the sketchbook! I really appreciated your masterpiece and I would love to use it in my sketching lessons at the university where I´m a professor in a design course in Brazil. I´m an industrial designer and I´ve been looking for some goods like that to enriches my lessons and improve our drawing skills too. How can I get one and receive directly home in Brazil? Is it possíble? Thanks and best regards!

      Thank you!
Just click on the link above where you can make a pledge on the Kickstarter website.
There is a pledge just for schools and book stores. You get 30 books at the wholesale price. This would be perfect for your classes.
