We posted the sketch for this Reebok Shaqnosis concept by Archie Tolentino a few days back on our Instagram. Since then, Archie went off and decided to bring the concept to another level. Taking Jonathan Morris’ original design and creating a concept for ’15 that still embodies it’s original aesthetic, yet is catered toward a more versatile type of athlete. The rendering alone is beautifully clean and the design is something I think would really resonate with consumers that remember those older Shaq days. Extending those white sections of the hypnotic pattern to create the eye row is very clever, I’m also a fan of that collar detail. Someone tell me why Archie isn’t designing for an athletic footwear brand right now, please?
