Heres another sweet looking shoe from designer Saul Maret. The Reebok Indoor Rxt is a Women's Cross trainer built on an ultralight eva platform. Also garnering some accolades this shoe was awarded by "Shape magazine" for being the "Best cross training shoe 2010"!

I came across the old but good video while looking at the post I recently did on Cheng Kue. Sketched by IDSketching Co-Founder, John Muhlenkamp, the thing I really love about this video is that is shows how much easier it is to create a dynamic sketch by rotating the surface you're sketching on. This gives your arm (Elbow/Shoulder) better angles to create nice, crisp and most importantly, smooth lines and allows you to sketch more comfortably within your body mechanics. With a unique composition of sketch pages and mood boards Amy definitely has her own style. A smooth blend of a fashion designer's moleskin and raw industrial sketches. Her sketch book is filled with inspiration clippings, swatches, notes, and of course sketches. Making her thought process so visually palatable its easy to understand how her concept translates so well to the final product. Currently working as a Senior Footwear Designer at Nike's European Headquarters since 2009, we can only imagine what she has been up to. I first came across Cheng over on IDsketching.com, he did this dope rendering tutorial of a pair of Nike's that pretty much rocked my world (Check it out at the bottom of the post). There 's definitely something to be said for a quick and striking sketch render. A little more firmed up then a sketch, but not quite as finalized as finished render. It's a quick, presentable and exciting way to get your ideas across to your clients without them thinking they're too finalized and can't be changed. Check out more of Cheng's renders, below.
