Duties:

 

The nature of the work is focused on creating product and brand demand, understanding external constituents and effectively presenting company or product information. Assist producers with production of multiple sport categories, including gathering and organizing content, managing project plans and communicating to internal groups Work with marketing on qualitative and quantitative metrics Assist producers/digital leaders/ad managers with production of multiple sport categories, including gathering and organizing content, managing project plans and communicating to internal groups- Assist in the creative process from concept to launch for categorical digital communications projects- Assist in the creation of digital content and marketing plans Work with digital producers/digital leaders/ad managers to define digital marketing plans, including e-mail, online advertising, etc. Support producers/digital leaders/ad managers in the management of external creative agencies through all aspects of digital development

  • Work with Nike Global Community Team to develop the global voice of Nike Sportswear—this person would BE the voice of Nike Sportswear.
  • Create narratives against product stories, with distinctive Sportswear voice in mind and balanced approach to men and women
  • Write copy for all social posts across all platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Write editorial style blog copy for Sportswear blog
  • Work closely with Global Community team to develop new content concepts
  • Develop storyboards for campaign narratives
  • Publish content across all channels
  • Listen and engage with community across all channels
  • Interview and manage information collection from key Nike designers and product teams
  • Communicate actively with Project Managers to ensure timely completion of work
 

Skills:

 

2 years digital marketing, brand marketing, or related experience preferred. Typical Office: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

  • 2-5 years experience in fashion/lifestyle blogging, copywriting, and social media authoring
  • Passion and knowledge of the Nike brand
  • Must be endemic to sneaker/streetwear/sport lifestyle culture
  • Proactive, self-starter who believes a few words can be worth 1,000 pictures
  • Attention to detail and ability to thrive with tight time constraints
  • Ability to understand brand strategy, business context, and creative intent
  • Natural enthusiasm for digital communication channels and mobile platforms—Personally active on various social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Digital profile, blog, social channels and work samples would need to be reviewed prior to interviewing
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects at a time and follow direction
  • Team-spirited, highly self-motivated, driven and passionate about design, digital, and Nike
  • Social media is a 24/7 business; flexibility to work occasionally on weekends
