Nike Flyknit LunarBall concept | Florent Baheux

A beautiful, personal project from the talented french designer, Florent Baheux. The project is a mixture of renderings done on a Wacom Tablet and then 3D modelled in AliasAutomotive with a super interesting lay out.

Trying to create a new kind of basketball shoe for elite players, lightest as possible using current nike’s technologies. – Florent

With Nike staple materials on the upper and outsole, like a PU/flyknit upper, Flywire, a carbon fibre shank and a Lunarlon outsole, the concept utilises a lot of Nike’s technologies to help create a dynamic yet light and structurally strong basketball sneaker.

The visuals for this project are money, I’m not always a fan of 3D modelled footwear, but when it’s executed like this, it’s absolutely spot on.
