Nike CONQUEROR Concept | Marc Van Tichelen

The Nike CONQUEROR is an all terrain running shoe concept by designer, Marc Van Tichelen.

The concept is a mixture of breathable mesh, TPU film, Flywire, carbon fibre shanks and two part EVA injected sole. The CONQUEROR not only looks stunning, but should also provide a lot of support and cushioning, while remaining flexible and light.

My personal favorite aspect is the mulit-density, two-part EVA injected midsole. The yellow part being injected low density EVA, to provide cushioning. The translucent part is then injected with high density EVA to ensure stability. Functionality dictating beautiful form.

Would love to get a sample of these boots and give them some all-terrain testing. And by all-terrain testing I mean only wearing them when it’s really, really nice weather outside. With some nice jeans or sweatpants. And a CK cap ; )
