Modular Footwear by Martin Ding & Michael Chan Kai

Currently a work in progress, this Modular footwear project by Martin Ding & Michael Chan Kai is a super interesting mixture of materials and components.

With a clean one-piece upper, forefoot strap, removable midsole, outsole and tread, this is Martin and Michael’s vision of what the future of modular sneakers may look like. The silhouette and collar shape also add a really intriguing feel to the shoe, with the somewhat soft colour palette adding an interesting juxtaposition to the fairly sharp collar cut.
