Former United Nude Designer Michal Kukucka recently took to his Instagram to share the process behind some of the experimental heel projects he was a part of during his time with the brand.
Both concepts appear to be inspired by the roots of a tree. Heavily interwoven and complex, the “roots” organically flow through the heel, creating a dynamic structure for the foot.
The concepts were actualised via 3D printing and used a mixture of nylon (for the wedge) and a flexible TPU (for the upper).
