Michael Brown: G-Star Raw
Michael Brown worked with G-Star in 2009 as a Mens & Womens Designer/Graphic Artist working on new projects for G-Star footwear and updating past models with new Seasonal Graphics. We got our hands on one of Michaels projects below- Great sketches, great thought, and a great product. Michael does a real nice job with his sketch work, giving very subtle marker base shading and a clean indigo blue pop. One thing about working for such a trend driven brand is the research that comes with trying to stay current. Michael does a really great job incorporating these design cues and drawing from them as inspiration. The final sample is a great example of applying research and diving right into an emerging trend.
