Laura Papp – Porcelain Shoes (UpDated)

As you may know by now, i’m a big fan of women’s footwear, the inspiration you can gain from it is undeniable, and these Porcelain shoes by Laura Papp are of no exception. A really beautiful use of materials, the minimal design of the upper plays off the interesting texture of the sole. Check out more pics below.

In Porcelain Shoes my inspiration was Sagrada Familia and the stalactite cave.

What design feature do you like best about this concept?

The most important for me was the surface, so I chosen, the white colour, because it is the best to show the plastic. I wanted the contrast between the platform and the vamp.
It was the big experiment. I chosen the porcelain, because this material good to show every kind of surface and elegance, and one of the most strong material.
The vamp is made from leather, and in the bottom is included white rubber.
This is Haute Couture shoos (not functional).
