3D modeler Juan Carlos Cuadra is one of the artists responsible for the video below. 3D modelling always intrigues me, especially when applied to a shoe, having the right programs and rendering plugins is key to a successful & convincing model. The tricky part being that the shoe sole is more hard modelling, and the upper generally being soft modelling, so finding a great program that can handle those two completely different modelling styles is important.
