Jordan Brand Designer Chad Little Interview
We got a chance to catch up with Jordan Brand designer Chad Little last Week. Within 2 years of breaking into the brand Chad is responsible for some of Jordan's best selling non-retros. Well on his way to making a long-term impact in Beaverton we are looking forward to seeing whats next. Take a look at our interview with the man himself below.
CK:Can you tell us a little about yourself?
29yo Kelso, WA native.
Fan of everything sport related;
CK:What inspires you to design?
To be able to wake up every day enjoying what you do.
CK:Whats your favorite thing about footwear design?
Being creative within the athletic world while allowing anybody from the kid to the professional athlete to express themselves with your own designs is pretty cool.
CK:What are your favorite pair of shoes you have designed and why?
Not sure when ATR is ever going to release those MW5s (designed 2+ years ago) but that was a fun project. To be able to work with Martell on a personal level to deliver a design that not only satisfied his aesthetic tastes, but to also be an affordable performance design solution from a retail price point was a fun challenge.
A lot of the projects I've worked on at Jordan Brand are just about to hit retail or still another year out. A lot of excitement. Planning to update my coroflot page with some of the sketches/stories behind the shoes soon
