Nike Lab continues to be a massively bright spark in an otherwise quiet year by Nike’s lofty standards. Continuing their working relationship with ACRONYM® designer Errolson Hugh, this collection features everything our inner ninjas have come to expect from both ACG & Errolson.
When designing this latest collection, they wanted prioritized three key characteristics — comfort, versatility and weather protection — and how they could integrate these seamlessly with past and future ACG apparel.
“Apparel with adaptability and articulation is essential when navigating the city,” explains NikeLab Senior Design Director Jarrett Reynolds. “Garments with features like removable hoods and strap systems help you adapt and transform to your environment. Everything we design for ACG has a reason and has to perform.”
It goes without saying that the apparel is pure bad assery, but they also updated their Nike ACG Zoom Tallac boot. Originally debuted in 2003, “the NikeLab ACG Zoom Tallac Flyknit delivers the durability of a hiking boot, paired with the traction and buoyancy of a lightweight trail-running shoe.” – Nike.com
