Initial Sketches of the Nike Ultrafly Elite

Here’s a quick look at one of the initial sketch pages of the Nike Ultrafly Elite, courtesy of Nike Baseball designer Erin Cochrane.

It seems from looking at the sketches, a large amount of the development was focused on the outsole plate and the positioning of the studs in relation to the anatomy of the foot to provide the best traction and comfort possible.
The cleat’s feature “Lunarlon” foam and a “Pebax” speed plate for added durability and traction. It goes without saying that the detailing of the final cleat is super on point, the moulded toe guard on the medial is also a really nice touch.

Admittedly, being a Brit I know nothing about Baseball, but these look like they could help you score many, many touchdowns.
