How High Frequency Welded (Hyperfuse) Shoes Are Constructed

Nike's notorious for coming up with dope products and techniques, but high frequency welding (hyperfuse) technology has really brought a new era to the world of footwear. Nike’s "Hyperfuse" is a process in which the shoe uppers are constructed through heat pressing three or more synthetic layers. Creating an upper with no stitching can really free up and completely change your whole concept. A lot of footwear brands are still learning the process, as there are a lot of tricky things you have to figure out to make the shoe come together successfully. We've recently been involved with developing some footwear that involved high frequency welding ourselves and thought we'd share the process.
