Hand Made Shoes | Yuta Hyakusoku

I always hold things like this with the highest level of respect, actually getting your hands dirty and going out and making your own shoes is something I think every shoe designer should do at some point.

I just love the rawness of these hand made shoes by Yuta Hyakusoku. Using everything from crepe soles, vegetables tanned leather, espadrille and shoe lasts found in antique shops (this particular one being from 1965), Yuta has created some beautiful pieces of footwear.

I am particular about making things with my hands. These are my tools (no industrial sewing machines). – Yuta
