F360 by Margaret Blachnicka

A beautifully clean concept from designer Margaret Blachnicka, the F360 is more sculpture then it is shoe.

“The purpose of this concept was to interpret the shoe as a sculpture and experiment with it’s proportions. The organic leather body is contrasted with a machined block of synthetic material to combine a craftsmanship approach with industrial solutions.” – Blachnicka

It’s quite interesting to see how the play with proportion toys with the products appearance, the heel being slightly off-kilter and perhaps a little too small a solid for the larger, more organic upper. It’s both visually beautiful and a little off-settling all at the same time.
