Dover Street Market Documents Hender Scheme’s Manufacturing Process

No matter how you may feel towards Hender Scheme’s, “inspired” styles, the amount of care that goes into the production of each pair is truly undeniable (and to be honest, the creativity from a development standpoint, to be able to make iconic styles purely out of premium natural leather showcases an entirely different level of creativity that leaves me leaning towards these styles being an homage as opposed to just rip-offs).

Ginza’s Dover Street Market has decided to capture some of the shoe making processes behind a few of Hender Scheme’s models, in a mini #workinprogress documentary. In typical, uber cool high-fashion style, the pictures are beautifully curated, and of course are all in black & white.
