Brian Foresta Shares His Creative Process

Former Senior Director of Design at adidas Statement, Brian Foresta recently updated his website, sharing some of the many projects he was involved in during his time at the brand.

Below you can see sketches from some of the iconic footwear silhouettes Brian was involved in the creation of, from YEEZY 500 ideation sketches to shell toe tactical boot renders, photoshop mash-ups and knitting machine explorations.

“It all begins with an idea. For me, for as long I can remember, that means quickly sketching it out. These are small sample of how I work through concepts. I am a strong advocate for using different mediums to concept. In my process I move from pen in paper to a sewing machine to clay into photoshop. It is important to always move an idea between mediums to fully develop the idea in 2D and 3D. I like to think about always being a work in progress, adding tools to my creative toolbox to create with.” – Brian Foresta
