Brandblack Unveils The Delta with Vibram’s First-Ever Basketball Tooling

We were lucky to get a good look Brandblack’s latest Basketball silhouette, the Delta, featuring Vibram’s first ever Basketball tooling, at the MAN tradeshow in Paris earlier this year. It was obvious from the very first glance that this was a special shoe, and showcases what David, Billy and the whole Brandblack team are about: pushing the industry eloquently into the future.

Below we get a look at some of the design & development process that went into the Delta, shared by Brandblacks founder, David Raysse (via his personal Instagram account). They feature a knitted upper, Jetlon Lite, an internal collar, and most notably, Vibram’s first ever basketball tooling. The tooling features a new cushioning technology (more on that later) and also sports an interesting welt like construction moulded into it, with the shoe looking to be both glued and stitched to the upper.
