Air Jordan Backpack | Michael DiTullo + Alan Strack

Firstly I have to say, it’s about time. I remember seeing this Jordan backpack concept by Michael DiTullo & Alan Strack years ago and flipping out. I’m not entirely sure why it’s taken so long for them to actually make the bag available for purchase, but I’m glad to see it finally is. It’s a brilliant idea. I’m also not entirely sure who’s responsible for this XI version as I know Michael doesn’t work there anymore, however I think it’s safe to assume it was at the very least ‘inspired’ by his and Alan’s initial concept.

One of the coolest aspects about the original design was that they created the bag with the sole unit in MJ’s size (13.5). Would be interesting to know if they still kept that little detail in there.

“Jordan Retro III bag – Co-designed with Alan Strack, this laptop bag was inspired by the AJIII. It uses the actual sole unit from the shoe in Michael Jordan’s size, 13.5.” – Michael DiTullo
