adidas Leezy | Thomas Le

During his time at adidas, designer Thomas Le was putting in work. These Leezy’s are just flat out beautifully designed and are something I can only hope to imagine will actually be realized by the three stripes at some point and not just be left as a sample.

With stunning renderings and details like the three reflective straps at the heel acting as lace hooks and opening/closing the shoe much like the gills of a fish when loosened and tightened, a modern mesh + neoprene upper combined with a more traditional leather around the toe and combo mesh + boost sole (which didn’t unfortunately make it to the final sample it looks like), the Leezy’s are comprised of a ton of different well thought out, interesting components.
