A Look at the Design Process Behind LeBron’s Nike Air Zoom Generation

Nice Kicks’ Nick DePaula recently published an article looking into the initial inspiration, early design sketches and CAD’s that went into the creation of LeBron’s first sig shoe with Nike, the Nike Air Zoom Generation.
Designed by a Nike super trio of Tinker Hatfield, Eric Avar & Aaron Cooper, the Air Zoom Generation features an overall timeless design, Heel Max Air, forefoot Zoom Air and most noteably, the newly developed “Sphere Liner” that helped the shoe to become one of Bron’s most comfortable shoes.
